Terms of Service

By signing in to evntfy.in (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

evntfy.in lets an organization connect a Google Form response sheet, review registrants, send QR check-in ticket emails from its own connected Gmail account, and run door-side check-in for an event. It is provided on an “as is” basis.

Any Google account can self-register an organization. New organizations are reviewed manually before they can connect Sheets/Gmail or create events — this is a fraud/abuse check, not a guarantee of any particular approval timeline. An organization’s admins are responsible for the accuracy of their organization’s name/branding and for who they grant admin or staff access to.

• Don’t use the app to collect data you don’t have a lawful basis to collect.
• Don’t use connected Gmail sending for anything other than this app’s stated purpose (event ticket/confirmation email).
• Don’t attempt to access another organization’s data, registrants, or connected accounts.
• Don’t attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or the organization review process.

Sheets and Gmail access are granted separately, scoped to a single organization, and can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what each connection is used for.

evntfy.in is charged per event, tiered by that event’s registrant count: Free up to 50 registrants, then ₹299 (51–100), ₹499 (101–300), or ₹699 (300+). This is a one-time charge per event, not a subscription, and is not metered by how many confirmation emails you send. Payment is collected upfront, before an event can send tickets; if an event’s registrant count later grows past what was paid for, sending is paused until the difference is paid. An organization can have at most one active Free-tier event at a time— once it has one, connecting another sheet that would also qualify as Free is blocked until the first one’s date has passed or it’s cancelled; this doesn’t apply to any paid tier, and doesn’t affect events that already existed before this rule.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. A processing-fee surcharge (covering Razorpay’s own transaction fee) is added to the amount charged and is shown before you pay.

Cancelling an event entirely(as opposed to it simply having fewer registrants than expected, see below) follows one of three rules, checked in this order: if the event’s registrant data was never synced, it’s a full refund with no deduction, regardless of how close the event date is. Otherwise, if it’s cancelled 7 or more days before the event date, it’s refunded minus a flat ₹50 retention. If it’s cancelled within 7 days of the event date (or the event has no date set), there’s no cash refund — the full amount is credited to your organization’s wallet instead, the same wallet described below. A cash refund only ever covers the base tier price, never the Razorpay processing fee, and is only ever issued for the portion of your payment actually charged through Razorpay — any portion originally covered by wallet credit is credited back to the wallet, not refunded in cash, since it was never a real card/bank charge to begin with.

Payments are not refunded in cash, but unused capacity is credited.If an event ends up with fewer registrants than the tier paid for — including if the event is later deleted — the difference between what was paid and what the final registrant count actually required is credited to your organization’s wallet balance (visible on the Billing page), never refunded back to a card or bank account. Wallet credit is never paid out in cash or refunded to your original payment method, under any circumstances — including if your organization never creates another event. It can only be applied automatically as a discount on a future event created by the same organization, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or applied to another organization. Redeeming it means coming back to create another event. Wallet credit expires 12 months after it’s issued— each credit’s issue and expiry date are both shown on the Billing page. Capacity already used by the time of deletion is not credited or refunded— see “Data and deletion” below for how that’s determined.

An organization admin can permanently delete an event at any time, which erases that event’s data entirely and cannot be undone, including any registrants synced from its connected sheet. Deleting a paid event triggers the same unused-capacity wallet credit described in “Pricing and billing” above, based on a final check of the event’s actual registrant count at the moment of deletion — capacity that was already used by then is not refunded or credited, only the genuinely unused portion. The payment itself remains on record on the Billing page even after the event it was for is gone. See our Privacy Policy for how data is stored and retained.

We may suspend or terminate access for an organization or account that violates these terms, engages in abuse, or poses a security risk to the platform or other organizations.

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including data loss from event deletion or send failures due to third-party (Google) outages or quota limits.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
